Israeli Colonists Release Livestock into Palestinian Crops in Northern Jordan Valley

Al-Mita: Israeli colonists on Tuesday released their livestock onto Palestinian citizens' rain-fed crops in the Al-Mita area in the northern Jordan Valley, causing disruption and potential damage to the agricultural activities of the local residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that a group of Israeli colonists allowed their livestock to graze on Palestinian-owned crops. This incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the area, where colonists and the occupation army have been involved in repeated confrontations with Palestinian citizens.

The sources added that alongside the livestock grazing, other colonists brought a herd of cows near citizens' tents, further escalating the situation. The Al-Mita area has been a focal point of conflict for months, with numerous attacks reported against the Palestinian agricultural community. The local population continues to face challenges in safeguarding their lands and livelihoods amidst these tensions.
