Post: Israeli Colonists Hold Ceremony in Jabal al-Mukaber

Jerusalem: Israeli colonists held a provocative celebration on Thursday on land belonging to the town of Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of colonists gathered in a park built on the town's land, overlooking the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, and performed ritual dances and proactive acts.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces had closed the road to Jabal al-Mukaber and obstructed the movement of local Palestinian residents, under the pretext of securing the settlers' access and activities. Such provocative celebrations are part of ongoing efforts to impose a colonial character on the town of Jabal al-Mukaber and the area surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
