Israeli Colonists Erect Tents on Palestinian Lands in Minya Desert

Bethlehem: Israeli colonists have initiated the construction of tents in the Minya desert, located east of Bethlehem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Zayed Kawazbeh, the head of the Minya village council, reported that these colonists have started establishing tents on lands within the Nasb Abu Diya area for colonial purposes.

Kawazbeh emphasized that the Minya desert, which encompasses areas such as Fateh Sadra, al-Tina, Hajjar, Wadi al-Abyad, Nasb Abu Diya, and Rabia, has historically faced repeated incursions by colonists. These actions have taken place under the protection of occupation forces. The incidents have included not only the setting up of tents across various locations but also aggressive acts against local farmers and shepherds, involving the use of live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
