Colonists Storm Sheep Pen Near Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists stormed the al-Mu'arijat community, northwest of Jericho, on Monday and attacked residents' property.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, reported that colonists attempted to set fire to a house belonging to a community resident.

The colonists also poured flammable materials on an agricultural tractor, intending to set it ablaze. However, residents intervened and managed to remove the colonists before any damage was done. Malihat confirmed that the attack occurred under the watchful eye of the occupation forces, who did not take action to stop the attacks.

In a related incident, colonists stormed a sheep pen in the Arab al-Malihat community, northwest of Jericho. Malihat stated that a group of colonists opened a sheep pen belonging to citizen Atta Suleiman Ka'abneh in the community and scattered the sheep, causing fear and anxiety among the residents.

The incidents are part of a broader pattern, as colonists had previously stormed the Arab al-Malihat community in al-Mu'arrajat, northwest of Jericho, at dawn and attacked residents' property.
