Bethlehem: Israeli colonists erected a tent on Thursday on Palestinian-owned land in the Khala'il al-Luz area, which is located southeast of Bethlehem. The land in question belongs to the Salahat and Mawaleh families and is situated adjacent to a military hospital.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Breijieh, a researcher specializing in wall and settlement affairs, reported that the colonists' action is a step towards implementing an Israeli military decision. This decision involves constructing a colonial bypass road that will connect the settlements of Tekoa and Efrat. Such construction is expected to isolate Bethlehem from its southern countryside.
