Israeli Colonists Accused of Poisoning Sheep in Bedouin Community Near Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists poisoned several sheep in the Bedouin community of Shallal Al-Auja, north of Jericho, leading to their deaths.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, explained in a statement that the colonists targeted sheep owned by Muhammad Hassan Harizat, a Palestinian herder. Malihat stated that this incident is part of a series of ongoing violations by colonists against Palestinian farmers and shepherds, which aim to displace Palestinian communities from their homelands.

Palestinian rural areas have witnessed a sharp surge in colonist attacks, particularly since the onset of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
