Jerusalem: Israeli occupation machinery on Sunday began extensive excavation and land-leveling works in the area of Iraq al-Dair, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces initiated excavation works in the area, located between the settlements of Ma'ale Adumim and Mishor Adumim, as part of a new settlement project targeting Palestinian-owned lands. The Jerusalem Governorate highlighted that these works are part of ongoing expansion efforts aimed at imposing new facts on the ground in the occupied West Bank.
