Beit ummar: Israeli forces have issued a new military order to seize more than 38 dunams of land in the town of Beit Ummar, located north of Hebron. The land in question is situated northwest of the town.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Beit Ummar municipality engineer Halim Abu Maria stated that the municipality received the military order from the occupation forces. The land includes areas such as Dhahr Afteima, Al-Yanbu, Khallat Al-Aran, Wadi Ashkhit, Khallat Al-Farn, and Sidr Safa. These lands are cultivated with grapevines, almond trees, and olive trees.
Activist Muhammad Awad highlighted that the land is owned by several local families who depend on its produce as their primary source of income. He also pointed out that this is the second such order in a short period. Last month, the occupation forces issued a military order to seize approximately 30 dunams of Palestinian-owned land surrounding Beit Al-Baraka, which was previously seized by colonists several years ago.
