Jenin: For the seventh consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continue to vandalize and set fire to Palestinian homes in the Jenin refugee camp. WAFA correspondent reported that estimates indicate that about 100 homes have been destroyed and burned inside the camp, amidst continued systematic destruction of the infrastructure, and preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from entering it.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, several local residents attempted to return to the camp from its western side after the occupation vehicles withdrew to inspect their homes, only for the army to raid the site again and detain a group of them. The occupation forces have detained a number of citizens in both the camp and several neighborhoods of the city.
The Israeli occupation army is continuing to deploy military reinforcements to the city of Jenin, with military vehicles stationed in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, while warplanes and drones are observed flying over the city and the camp.
