Gaza city: Israeli airstrikes on multiple areas of Gaza since early Sunday morning have left civilians killed and injured, including children, and Gaza City endured further bombardment that targeted residential buildings.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, two children were killed and several others injured when an airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City. In a separate strike on an apartment in the Al-Ghazali building in Sheikh Radwan, four civilians were killed and others were wounded. At least eight people were killed and several others were injured after warplanes struck Al-Farabi School, which was being used as a shelter for displaced families near Yarmouk Stadium in central Gaza City. WAFA reported that the ongoing aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has resulted in at least 64,368 documented Palestinian fatalities and more than 162,367 injured. WAFA added that thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble and remain inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams because of the attacks.
