Salfit: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozers on Sunday razed lands in the western area of the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfit, to expand the outpost built on Palestinian land.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the Farkha village council, Mustafa Hammad, stated that the bulldozing operations are concentrated in the Jabal al-Batin area to expand the settlement built on village lands, as part of a colonial expansion project and the establishment of what is called "Greater Ariel" in the area.
Mustafa Hammad identified the affected area as Jabal al-Batin and said the operations aim to expand the settlement footprint on village lands.
The razing was carried out by Israeli occupation forces using bulldozers and took place on Sunday.
The expansion is described by local officials as part of a project identified as "Greater Ariel."
