Twelve Lebanese civilians, including eight children, were killed, and 22 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday, with the most intense bombardment targeting areas in the Beqaa region. A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that Israeli warplanes carried out heavy raids on multiple towns, including Hosh Sneid in Baalbek, Rayak in the Beqaa, Hadatha, Janata, Qusayr, Marjeyoun, Yater, and Hanin in southern Lebanon. Additionally, drones were seen flying over Beirut and its suburbs, extending to the Keserwan region. The source added that the Israeli military issued threats to residents of southern Lebanon, urging them not to return to their homes, and threatened to target ambulances, alleging they were being used by Hezbollah.
