Beirut: Israeli warplanes Monday evening launched a series of intensive airstrikes targeting several Lebanese regions, including the towns of Bazourieh and Jebshit, as well as densely populated areas such as Ghobeiry and Haret Hreik, according to the National News Agency (NNA). According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in the town of Marjaayoun, Israeli artillery shelling targeted an area on the outskirts of the village of Qlayaa. This resulted in the killing of one person and the injury of four others from a Syrian family, including two children, one of whom sustained severe burns. The daily report issued by the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health highlighted the severity of the situation, stating that the Israeli airstrikes on Sunday, November 24, 2024, resulted in the killing of 14 people and the injury of 73 others. The report further detailed that the death toll since the beginning of Israeli aggression on Lebanon has reached 3,768, with at least 15,699 oth ers injured. The ongoing conflict continues to impact civilians, causing widespread casualties and suffering across affected regions.
