Israeli Airstrikes and Artillery Shelling Impact Multiple Cities Across Lebanon

Beirut: Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted multiple cities and towns across Lebanon on Tuesday evening, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions. The attacks affected various areas, predominantly in the southern regions and the Beqaa Valley in the east.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces launched strikes on the city of Nabatieh and surrounding towns, including Toul, Kafr Sir, Kfour, Al-Sharqiya, Ainata, Al-Ghassaniyah, Arab Salim, Bint Jbeil, and Zawtar al-Sharqiya. Additional areas such as Sinay, Touline, Qabrikha, Khiam, Majdal Selm, Baraachit, Al-Duwair, Burj Rahhal, Deir Siryan, Safad al-Battikh, Zefta, and Wadi al-Hujeir also came under fire. In eastern Lebanon, the city of Baalbek in the Beqaa Valley was similarly targeted.

The strikes have raised concerns over the potential for further conflict in the region. The international community is closely monitoring the situation as it unfolds.
