Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza Result in 15 Fatalities and Numerous Injuries

GAZA CITY: In a series of Israeli airstrikes conducted this morning, at least 15 Palestinians were reported killed across the Gaza Strip, with numerous others injured, local sources reported. The strikes targeted multiple areas, including densely populated regions like refugee camps and residential streets.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, four Palestinians lost their lives in Gaza City when Israeli airstrikes targeted the Al-Shati refugee camp situated to the west of the city. The strike reportedly hit a civilian gathering, resulting in several injuries in addition to the fatalities.

In another incident, Israeli jets bombed a gathering of civilians in Jabalia, a town in northern Gaza, killing ten more individuals and injuring several others. Additionally, an airstrike on Al-Sha'af Street in the eastern part of Gaza City claimed the life of another civilian.

Overall, the airstrikes today have resulted in the deaths of 15 people and left dozens wounded across various regions within the Gaza Strip. Among the fatalities, 11 were reported to be from Khan Younis. The ongoing Israeli offensive, which has been ongoing since October 2023, has caused significant casualties, with documented Palestinian fatalities reaching at least 45,553 and injuries surpassing 108,379.

Thousands of individuals are feared to be trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to the continuous Israeli attacks. Despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide and address the dire humanitarian situation, the assaults have persisted.
