Child Shot Near Israeli Segregation Wall in Qalqilya

QALQILYA: A 14-year-old Palestinian boy was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Jayyous, located east of Qalqilya, according to local reports. The incident adds to ongoing tensions in an area frequently marked by confrontations due to its proximity to the Israeli segregation wall.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its medical teams provided immediate first aid to the injured child, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He was then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.

Eyewitnesses and reporters in the region indicated that the child was injured near the segregation wall in Jayyous, a location that has often been the site of confrontations between local residents and Israeli forces. The area remains a focal point of tension and conflict amid broader regional disputes.
