Jenin: The Israeli occupation is withholding the bodies of 676 slain Palestinians in cemeteries of numbers and refrigerators, according to the National Campaign for Retrieval of the Bodies of Palestinian War Victims. The campaign revealed this information in a press statement, highlighting the ongoing issue of withheld bodies.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the campaign stated that the occupation authorities were still holding the bodies of three Palestinians who were gunned down at dawn on Tuesday in Jenin. This recent incident has increased the total number of withheld bodies to 676.
The campaign further detailed that among the 676 bodies, 71 belonged to detainees, 60 were children, and nine were women. The situation continues to be a point of contention and concern for the families and communities affected.
