Jerusalem: The Palestinian Detainees' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) stated on Monday that the Israeli occupation authorities issued and renewed administrative detention orders against 41 detainees.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a joint statement from the organizations explained that the occupation continues to escalate its use of administrative detention under the pretext of a "secret file." They highlighted that the number of administrative detainees constitutes the highest percentage compared to those held in pretrial detention, convicted individuals, and those classified as "unlawful combatants." This number has seen an unprecedented increase since the beginning of what the organizations referred to as the war of extermination.
