Jenin: Israeli occupation forces notified residents of the town of Jaba'a, located south of Jenin, of their intention to seize land this morning. The notification concerns an area of 2.8 dunams, which is situated near the entrance to the "Tarsala" site, adjacent to the road connecting Jenin and Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported the notification came under the pretext of "seizure." Israeli bulldozers and machinery have been active at the "Tarsala" site, where they are constructing and paving a road. These developments follow the announcement of plans to re-establish settlements in the area, which were previously evacuated in 2005.
