Israel detonates handheld wireless communication devices for Hezbollah members

Lebanese media reported that Israel detonated, using high technology, hundreds of handheld wireless communication devices for Hezbollah members in the most populated area in the country, resulting in many injuries. According to information, the pagers exploded with their carriers in the southern suburbs of Beirut and the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon and the south (Nabatieh, Al-Hawsh, Bint Jbeil, Tyre). Media outlets and social media platforms circulated pictures showing a large gathering of citizens at the accident sites. It is noteworthy that the "pager" is a paging device or a small electronic device that is easy to carry and is used to receive short messages or the number of the person trying to contact the device.
