Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) issued warnings to 157 establishments within its municipal borders during the last month of June, according to its Director of Health and Environmental Affairs Department, Yahia Omari. In remarks to "Petra" Tuesday, Omari said the municipality also issued fined 40 facilities for their violations, while a total of 250 field visits were conducted and 3 establishments were shut down during the monitoring campaign. Omari stated that the department received and addressed 22 complaints, while 10 establishments and individuals were referred to the governor to take legal and administrative action for their violations.
