Iraq Strongly Condemns Netanyahu’s “Greater Israel Vision” Remarks

Baghdad: Iraq has condemned, in the strongest terms, the statements made by Israeli authorities concerning the so-called "Greater Israel Vision." These statements, according to Iraqi officials, reveal expansionist ambitions and confirm efforts to destabilize the region. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the comments are a blatant provocation against sovereignty and a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. The Ministry called for a clear and firm response from Arab and international communities to counter these policies. The Ministry highlighted that these remarks occur alongside ongoing occupation aggression against the Palestinian people. It further stressed that these policies, along with a political discourse centered on expansionism and annexation, necessitate effective action to end the occupation's violations and stop the policy of impunity.
