The Iraqi Ambassador to Egypt, Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Qahtaan Taha Khalaf, discussed with the Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Rashid Khattabi, the role of the media in shedding light on the inhumane practices practiced by the Zionist entity against the Palestinians. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "Taha Khalaf met Khattabi at the embassy headquarters, and the discussion focused on the outcomes of the recent meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was dedicated to supporting the Palestinian cause and discussing the attacks on Gaza, in addition to the role of the media in shedding light on the Palestinian cause and the inhumane practices practiced by the occupation in all Palestinian territories in general, and in Gaza in particular." The two parties agreed during the meeting, according to the statement, on the necessity of Arab integration and its importance in light of the challenges facing the Arab region, and the importance of cooperation and strengthening joint Arab action in all fields, due to its positive impact in achieving security and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
