Detachments of the Babylon Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, overthrew (3) antiquities dealers in their possession of an antiquity that they were aiming to sell in Babylon Governorate. The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement, 'The directorate's detachments deployed at the entrances to Babylon Governorate also arrested one of those wanted by the judiciary on terrorism charges, and an arrest warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (4/ of Terrorism), as legal measures were taken against him and he was referred to the judiciary.' It explained that the Directorate's detachments arrested an arms and equipment dealer in Babylon Governorate, in his possession of various light weapons that were confiscated.
