Inspected implementation progress in number of projects in Hodeida

The Commander of the Northern Axis, Major General Fadel Al-Dhayani, and the Director of the Branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeida province, Jaber Al-Razhi, inspected a number of water and environmental sanitation projects being implemented in the Northern Square districts in the province. These projects, implemented by CARE, at a cost of $676,336 and funded by the OCHA Humanitarian Fund, benefit 25,427 people. Al-Dhayani and Al-Razhi, along with the Director of Al-Zahra District, Abdul Rahman Al-Rifai, were briefed on the progress of work in the two water projects for the villages of Qabbas and Al-Gharza, which include the installation of two solar pumping systems and the construction of tanks and networks. They also reviewed the environmental sanitation project consisting of 400 bathrooms for the displaced in Al-Mirdah camp in Al-Zahra district, the project to supply and install a solar pumping unit for the water project in the center of Al-Lahiyah city, and the construction o f 80 bathrooms for the displaced in Al-Khubah city. In Al-Qanawis District, Al-Razhi and Al-Dhayani, along with the Director of the District, Muhammad Al-Quzi, were briefed on the progress of work on Kadaf Al-Barqi Water Project, which includes constructing a reservoir, supplying , implementing water networks, and constructing 50 bathrooms for displaced families.
