The Selection Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network prepared its most important criteria, in the presence of the President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Head of the Union of Arab Journalists Moayad Al-Lami.

A statement by the Ministry of Culture stated: Under the Direction of the Prime Minister, Eng. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and headed by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakkak Al-Badrani, a special committee was formed to select members of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, which includes in its membership both the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, and the head of the executive staff in Media and Communications Commission, Dean of the College of Information at the University of Baghdad, Director of the Media Office of the Prime Minister, and the Rapporteur of the Director of the Office of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities.

In its first meeting, the committee prepared the criteria on the basis of which the candidates will be selected after conducting a differentiation and according to the points that will be placed in front of each criterion, after which the best of them will be nominated to the Council of Ministers to vote on the selection of the members of the Council.

It is noteworthy that the committee is still receiving applications for applicants to occupy the position of a member of the Board of Trustees at the network’s headquarters in Baghdad, or at the e-mail that announced the network through its means.
