Imam of Friday prayers in Najaf: Israel cannot be dealt with through dialogue, but through force

The Imam of Friday prayers in Najaf, Sadr al-Din al-Qabanji, said that the hot event today is the barbaric Israeli aggression on Lebanon, where hundreds of martyrs, tens of thousands of displaced persons and tens of thousands of wounded have been killed. This came during the Friday sermon delivered today in Najaf. Al-Qabanji pointed out in his speech that our responsibility towards this blatant aggression is to provide relief in implementation and support of Sayyid al-Sistani in confronting the relief of the Lebanese people, and the immediate response by the Iraqi government and popular bodies. He added, "We must also support our people in Palestine and Lebanon because Israel does not understand the language of dialogue, but rather the language of force, and we will cut off Israel's hand in the entire region, and resistance is a legitimate right and we salute all resistance in Lebanon, Yemen and elsewhere.
