Huawei has announced the launch of two new tablets, the MatePad Pro 12.2 and the MatePad 12 X. The MatePad Pro 12.2 comes with a 12.2-inch, 2800 x 1840 pixel, 144Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and a massive 10,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging. On the other hand, the MatePad 12 X features a 2800 x 1840 pixel, 144Hz IPS LCD display with 1000 nits of brightness and the same large battery as the Pro version, but with 66W fast charging. Both devices offer versions with a PaperMatte coating on the screen, simulating the feel of paper to improve stylus performance and reduce eye strain during reading and browsing. Huawei also unveiled its new smartwatch, the Huawei Watch D2, which can measure blood pressure using a built-in inflatable cuff. The company said in a press release that the Watch D2 surpasses its predecessor by supporting ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) for continuous 24-hour coverage. The watch features an inflatable strap that works similarly to traditional bl ood pressure monitors, providing more accurate measurements than watches relying on optical sensors. The watch also includes an optical sensor for measuring heart rate, which consumes less power and does not require pressure on the wrist like the inflatable strap. It provides weekly blood pressure reports and allows users to see how different activities affect their blood pressure levels. Source: Qatar News Agency
