The Emergency Committee in Hodeida province has convened under the leadership of First province undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri to assess and discuss the procedures and interventions aimed at addressing recent flood damage. The meeting focused on the relief efforts for affected families, damage mitigation, and road reopening. The committee reviewed the progress in assessing damage to homes, roads, bridges, agricultural lands, and infrastructure, stressing the urgency of completing this inventory. Discussions also included a planned spraying campaign to address swamps and holes in Hodeida city and the preparation of a study on flood-affected neighborhoods in al-Hali district. Al-Bishri commended the collaborative efforts of all parties involved in relief work and emergency response.
