BERLIN: Germany denounced as 'unhelpful' statements by Israeli supremacist ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, in which they suggested that the people of Gaza should leave and be relocated to another country. 'Our position is clear: there must neither be any expulsions nor any territorial reduction of the Gaza Strip,' stressed a German foreign ministry spokesman. He stressed Germany's rejection, in the strongest terms, of statements made by ministers in the Israeli government regarding expelling the people of Gaza to another country, slamming them as unhelpful. He reiterated Germany's commitment to the two-state solution as the only sustainable way to achieve coexistence between Israel and Palestine. Source: Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA
