Jenin: The German Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli occupation forces' shooting of a diplomatic delegation in the West Bank city of Jenin. The incident has sparked diplomatic tensions and prompted demands for an explanation from the Israeli government.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry released a statement indicating that the delegation included a German diplomat and a driver affiliated with the representative office in Ramallah. The presence of these officials in Jenin was part of their regular diplomatic duties, which are conducted in coordination with both the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli military.

The statement emphasized the need for the Israeli government to promptly clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident. It also stressed the importance of respecting the inviolability of diplomats, highlighting the seriousness with which Germany views this breach of diplomatic protocol.
