BERLIN: The German Foreign Ministry called for an end to the repeated Israeli attacks on schools in the Gaza Strip, and for a rapid investigation into these attacks to be launched. The German Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on X that "the reports from Gaza are terrible," adding that "civilians seeking shelter getting killed is unacceptable. The repeated attacks on schools by the Israeli army must stop and be investigated quickly." The German Foreign Ministry stressed the urgent need to deliver humanitarian aid to the region, cease fire and exchange prisoners. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 39,790 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, in addition to 91,702 injuries. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
