GCC Secretary-General affirms GCC’s steadfast support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Badawi, affirmed the Council's firm support for Lebanon's sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and stability. He said, in a statement, that the violations committed by the Zionist entity's forces in Lebanese territory represent a serious threat that could lead to an explosion of the situation in the region.. Noting that these actions constitute a clear violation of international laws, norms and charters, and endanger regional security and peace. Al-Badawi called on the international community to take immediate action to stop these provocative actions and avoid escalating tensions, stressing the need to strengthen all international efforts to achieve stability and security in the region.
