Gaza: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has increased to 72,819, with 172,894 others wounded since the offensive began on October 7, 2023.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, hospitals in the Gaza Strip have received six slain individuals and 39 wounded in the past 48 hours. The ongoing conflict has led to a significant rise in casualties, with the total number of slain Palestinians since the ceasefire on October 11 reaching 922, and the number of wounded totalling 2,786. Additionally, 781 bodies have been recovered in the aftermath of the attacks.
The same sources indicated that many victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams face challenges in reaching them due to the ongoing hostilities.
