Gaza Death Toll from Israel’s Deadly Aggression Surpasses 61,158

Gaza city: Medical sources said on Wednesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,158, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the same sources added that the death toll has risen to 151,442 since the beginning of the aggression. A number of victims remain under the rubble, unreachable by ambulances and civil defense teams.

It was reported that 138 people were killed, three of whom were recovered, and 771 were wounded and taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

The total death toll and number of wounded since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, have reached 9,654 martyrs and 39,401 wounded.

The report further mentioned that the number of aid victims arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 87, with 570 injured. This brings the total number of livelihood victims arriving at hospitals to 1,655, and the total number of injured to 11,800.

Gaza hospitals also recorded five new deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition to 193, including 96 children.
