French President Emmanuel Macron called for a halt to the delivery of weapons to be used in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the priority should be a political solution to the year-long conflict between Israel and Hamas. "I think today, the priority is that we return to a political solution, that we stop delivering arms for fighting in Gaza," Macron told France Inter radio station. The French president regretted that there has been no change in the situation in Gaza, despite significant diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire, especially with Israel. Macron stated that he expressed these concerns to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that not listening to these warnings would be a mistake, affecting not only the current situation but also Israel's future security.
