The local government in the holy Karbala governorate announced the entry of four thousand Lebanese refugees into the governorate since the beginning of the crisis. Head of the Security Committee in the governorate Council, Thaer Al-Taie, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency/NINA/ that the local government, in cooperation with the administration of the holy shrines of Al-Hussein and Al-Abbas, the Department of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, the Association of Hotels and Tourist Restaurants, and the owners of the Husseini and Al-Ahly processions, were able to provide the requirements for the accommodation of the Lebanese refugees.
