Ramallah: Four Palestinians on Friday sustained injuries due to an attack by Israeli colonists on Deir Abu Mish'al village, northwest of Ramallah, according to Head of the Village Council.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Jamil Mousa reported that armed Israeli colonists attacked some villagers at the Al-Qara'na hill, south of the village. The assault resulted in injuries to four villagers, with one of the injuries being critical. The attack occurred at the same location where colonists had previously erected a tent.
Earlier today, dozens of villagers went to their lands atop the hill and dismantled the tent erected by colonists, which was intended to serve as a starting point for a new colonial outpost. This action sparked confrontations between the villagers, colonists, and Israeli soldiers.
Israeli occupation forces had entered the village around Friday prayers, attempting to prevent the villagers from heading to the hill in protest against the establishment of the colonial tent.
