Gaza: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned, in the strongest terms possible, the arbitrary measure announced by the Israeli Foreign Minister to revoke the visas of Australian diplomats in the State of Palestine. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry described the decision as illegal and inconsistent with the Geneva Conventions, international law, and international legitimacy resolutions, which do not grant the occupying power such powers. It affirmed that the State of Palestine does not recognize this decision and regards Australian diplomats as representatives and accredited to the State of Palestine. It emphasized that these measures reflect Israeli arrogance and a loss of political balance. It stated that these policies will only strengthen Australia's and other countries' determination to adhere to international law, the two-state solution, and the recognition of the State of Palestine, in order to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.
