Gaza City: Five Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured Saturday in Israeli shelling of several areas in Gaza City and Khan Yunis.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of citizens in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of four people and causing injuries to others. Another drone launched an airstrike near Al-Arqam School in the Al-Sha’af area of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
A WAFA correspondent noted that several individuals were injured and transported to Al-Awda Hospital after a bomb was fired from a Quadcopter drone near the Prisoners’ City on Rashid Street, located north of Nuseirat.
In southern Gaza, citizens sustained injuries from shelling targeting the Al-Rahma Camp near the Turkish slaughterhouse, southwest of Khan Yunis. Awad Daifallah Awad was also killed in Israeli shelling of Qizan Abu Rashwan, further south.
Medical sources reported that Abdul Raouf Talat al-Durra died from wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike near Abu Hamisa School in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza a few days ago. Additionally, Samah Muhammad Muslim Sahlol succumbed to injuries at Nasser Hospital from a previous Israeli airstrike in Khan Yunis.
