Gaza City: Five civilians were killed when the Israeli occupation bombed a group of citizens in the center of Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation military tanks targeted a gathering of civilians near the Netzarim checkpoint in central Gaza. Additionally, a female citizen was killed by Israeli march bullets in the town of Al-Shawka, east of Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The report further states that the occupation forces opened fire on citizens' homes east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis city, and a shell was fired from an Israeli tank at the eastern area of the town of Abasan Al-Jadida, also east of Khan Yunis city.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in a significant death toll, with the Gaza Strip reporting 48,503 deaths and 111,927 injuries since the aggression began on October 7, 2023. Despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on January 19, the occupation's actions continue, leading to further casualties and destruction of homes.
