The Federal Police Command forces arrested 18 suspects according to various legal articles in Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: "The units of the First Division in the Federal Police arrested 18 suspects wanted according to legal provisions that varied between (murder, theft, threats, possession of unlicensed weapons, firing bullets, building agricultural lands) in the areas of (Nahrawan, Al-Ubaidi, Al-Baladiyat, Al-Karrada, Al-Zafaraniya, Al-Fadhiliya) in Baghdad, in addition to seizing a Kalashnikov rifle and a pistol."
