Rafah: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Thursday expressed its deep concern for the safety of its nine crew members who have been besieged by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, for five days. In a statement, the Society held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for their fate.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the PRCS has urged the international community to take immediate and urgent action to allow rescue crews to access the Tal al-Sultan area in Rafah to ascertain the status of the missing personnel. The Society emphasized the necessity for global intervention to provide urgent protection for medical crews operating within the Gaza Strip.
