Jordan Valley: Extremist Israeli colonists established a new colonial outpost east of the Tayasir military checkpoint, in the northern Jordan Valley. Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that colonists placed a trellis in the area and introduced a number of cows, raising concerns that the site will be converted into a colonial outpost.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, there are now more than eight colonial outposts in the northern Jordan Valley, most of which serve pastoral purposes, allowing colonists to seize thousands of dunams of pastoral land. A report by the Wall and Settlement Authority highlighted that since the beginning of last January, colonists have made attempts to establish 10 new colonial outposts, primarily for agricultural and pastoral use.
