EU’s Kallas Urges Israel to Probe Shooting Incident Involving Diplomats in Jenin Camp

Jenin: The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has urged the Israeli occupation authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into an incident involving live fire directed at a diplomatic delegation at the entrance of the Jenin refugee camp.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Kallas insisted that those responsible for the shooting be held accountable. She highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety of diplomats, stating that any threat to their lives is unacceptable.

Kallas further pointed out Israel's obligations as a signatory to the Vienna Convention, which mandates the protection and safety of all foreign diplomats within its borders.
