Ensan Organization for Rights and Freedoms team visited the family of the victim, Mohammed Hassan Abdo Mahdi, 50 years old, who died after being tortured by gunmen affiliated with the so-called Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate.
During the visit to the family of the citizen Muhammad Mahdi in the isolation of Jabal Bahri in the Al-Adain district of Ibb governorate, the team listened to an explanation of the circumstances of the incident of the victim, who was tortured , until his death was reported.
According to the victim's family, after the mediation of one of the sheikhs of Abyan, they were informed of his release, and it turned out that he was a lifeless body. After examining the body, it was confirmed that he was subjected to torture methods and his entire body was burned.
The family of the victim, Mahdi, appealed to the local community to press for the extradition of the killers and bring them to justice so that they receive their deterrent punishment for the crime committed by their sinful hands that contradicts the principles, values and morals of Yemeni society.
