Ending Sixth Saba Dental Conference in Sana’a
Participants in the Sixth Saba Dental Conference stressed the importance of using automated systems , artificial intelligence in diagnosis and setting treatment plans in the various branches of oral and dental medicine and surgery in Yemen.
At the conclusion of the conference, which was organized in three days by the University of Sheba, with wide local and Arab participation, the recommendations called for the need to use appropriate preparation techniques for contact lenses, placing them using heat and pressure technology, and permanent identification of oral scanning and imaging systems.
The recommendations stressed the publication of master’s research before discussion and specialized scientific influences in the field of dentistry, activating awareness programs and spreading the culture of community oral health and its importance to ensure the preservation of the integrity of teeth and oral tissue among the community.
The participants also stressed the importance of continuing education and holding scientific courses ,conferences on a regular and continuous basis, because of its great importance in the self-development of oral and dental doctors and its reflection on community service.
On its third day, the conference dealt with 15 scientific papers and lectures through three working sessions. The first session reviewed five scientific papers that dealt with the risks and complications of orthodontic treatment by non-specialists by Dr. Ghamdan Al-Harazi, the treatment of open mouth bite by Dr. Hossam Al-Eryani and the seven myths in orthodontics by Dr. Naji Al-Awdi. And new active platelet formations by Dr. Waddah Al-Hajj, and new interventions in the treatment of recurrent oral infections by Dr. Abdel-Razzak Al-Mawry.
At the end of the conference, the participating lecturers were honored with shields and certificates of appreciation, and the participants were handed certificates of participation approved by the Supreme Medical Council.
