The General Department of Quality Control of Production Requirements at the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation inaugurated on Monday the work of electronic collection through the government financial and accounting system "AFIMS" and payment via Mobile Money. At the inauguration, the Director of Operation and Maintenance at the Executive Unit for Information and Systems at the Ministry of Finance, Abdullah Rajeh, indicated that the unit has completed the training and qualification process for the employees of the General Directorate of Quality on the use of the system. He pointed out that the unit, in coordination with the General Administration of Quality, has carried out the experimental work of the system over the past two months to ensure the technical readiness to work on it and collect fees electronically. He stressed the importance of electronic collection of revenues, which comes within the framework of automating state work, which contributes to enhancing transparency and combating corruption. H e pointed out that the project comes within the framework of networking and automation of financial work projects implemented by the Ministry of Finance in all state agencies and institutions under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Dr. Rashid Abboud Abu Lahoum.
