Elderly Palestinian Injured During Colonists’ Attack on Homes in Masafer Yatta

Gaza: An elderly Palestinian man was injured on Wednesday during a colonists' attack on residents in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-colonial activist Osama Makhamara reported that colonists attacked residents' homes in the village of Sha'ab al-Battum in Masafer Yatta. The assault left 75-year-old Mahmoud Mousa an-Najjar with bruises and contusions, necessitating his transfer to a hospital for treatment.

The colonists further destroyed al-Najjar's furniture and possessions and scrawled racist slogans on the walls of his house. Colonists from the Havat Talia and Susya illegal colonial outposts, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, also attacked Palestinian residents' homes in the villages of Imneizil and Khirbet Hribat al-Nabi, stealing furniture and other belongings.

They also seized the keys to homes and animal pens and caused widespread damage to other Palestinian properties.
