Bolivian University Holds Massive Solidarity Event Highlighting Palestinian Struggle

La paz: The University of Social Sciences (AMSA) in Bolivia organized a massive solidarity event to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause and the Israeli genocide and displacement faced by the Palestinian people. The event drew a significant presence of diplomats and representatives of Bolivian political parties.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, participants received an in-depth briefing on the suffering of the Palestinian people besieged in the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire, and the attacks launched by colonist gangs on villages, towns, and cities in the West Bank. These attacks occur under the protection of the occupation army and with the support of the security and political establishments, aiming to impose a new reality in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Ahmed Al-Asaad Abu Al-Fawakher, expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their solidarity with the Palestinian cause. He reviewed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territory, the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation, and the tragic conditions endured by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the conflict as one between a people occupied by a brutal, internationally backed power, and a people living under an unjust occupation that subjects them to policies of killing, siege, displacement, and destruction.

Abu Al-Fawakher stated, "This people seeks liberation and the establishment of their democratic homeland with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on respect for international law and the right of peoples to self-determination."

Earlier, Ambassador Abu Al-Fawakher participated in a meeting held in honor of the Bolivian Foreign Minister and her deputies at the Union Club, at the invitation of the Council of Ambassadors accredited to Bolivia. He conveyed greetings from the Palestinian Foreign Minister to her Bolivian counterpart on behalf of the Palestinian people.
